For over 100 years, the Union County Agriculture Fair Association (UCAFA) has presented an excellent carnival to the citizens of Union and surrounding counties. The events is a five-day event at the Union County Fair Grounds. The 2008 Fair is going to be the biggest and best yet. We have Amusements o America shows coming for the carnival and we are attempting to schedule some great entertainment throughout the week. The Union County Fair averages approximately 17,500 attendees for the 5 days of the carnival over the past 5 years and we look to increase that number be offering better entertainment. Our 5 year goal is to be at least a regional fair with the hopes of becoming the next Piedmont Upper State Fair.

The Union County Fair is the biggest event of the year for our county. This year again we are trying to bring in well know entertainers. Previous entertainers include Collin Raye, Tams, Coasters, Sound Express, Percy Sledge and other up and coming local artist.
